Doing things quite brilliantly, that is the signature of the Korean Giant. Has got the better result with the J-series earlier this year, Now it comes with a new member of A-series i.e the Samsung Galaxy A7. Which has the set-up of “triple rear cameras”.

As the competition getting tougher and the changing conditions in the smartphone industry signify every brand to do things like that has never made before. If they want to be in the game.

So, as per the demand of situation smartphone brands are looking for exactly the same.

Forget about the flagship phones, the quality of features that mid-range Phones offering will let you amaze.

As you can see there is a domination of the Chinese brands in the Indian market. Like Xiaomi, OPPO, Vivo, Realme, Asus which are bringing most of their models in the mid-range segment.

So, it becomes very much important for Samsung to focus on mid-range line-up and the company’s output is exactly the same as the new Samsung Galaxy A7.

About Samsung Galaxy A7

The first Galaxy A7 was launched in India in the year 2015 with a 5.5 inch SUPER AMOLED display and metal body design, 13MP rear-mounted camera with LED flash and 5MP front facing the camera for selfies. Which was launched at ₹ 32,500.

Now the new Galaxy A7 with many exciting features and affordable price is ready to make an impact on the market.

Recently Xiaomi’s PocoPhone F1 with Snapdragon 845 SoC at price 20,999 changing the whole game.

So, it was required for  Samsung to become out with a model that has to be something unique in it and it delivered the New Samsung Galaxy A7  with a “ triple rear cameras” set up.

But it is not the only phone which comes with a “triple cameras module”. Huawei P20 pro and recently launched OPPO R17 pro are the other two devices that comes with the same set-up. But they are quite expensive than the new Galaxy A7.

Let’s come and scrupulous look on Samsung Galaxy A7 before you buy it.

Body Design

Samsung Galaxy A7 comes with a complete glass body design. With an aluminum frame and it fits snuggly in your hand which you won’t want to drop even accidentally.

As with the trending notch design, every device looks alike but Samsung made it without the notch by going against the sequence.

So, you can easily recognize the top and bottom bezels. Whereas the bottom bezel not giving any control but the top-bezel houses the front-facing camera, proximity sensor, earpiece grill and a LED flash for low light conditions.

On the top side of the phone, there is nothing more to describe but a secondary microphone for noise cancelations.

Moving to the right side, there is a volume rocker and a side – mounted – fingerprint sensor is present.

Here is the change. The side-mounted – fingerprint sensor also acts as Power lock/unlock button.

You need not press the fingerprint sensor to access it. Once you activate it, it remains always act like the round and oval shape sensor. The only thing you have to do is just put your finger on it to unlock.

Outside look

On the left side, there is a triple case SIM tray with a dedicated slot for Micro SD card is present. So, that you can easily expand your storage capacity by a Micro SD card.

The bottom section of the phone houses to a 3.5mm audio jack, USB to the Micro USB port, Primary microphone, and speaker grill.

At the top left corner of the back there is a vertically placed triple camera setup and just below of it there is a LED flash for low light enhancement.

Samsung manages to suppress the camera hump so that it will not stir when you place it on a surface.

Samsung Galaxy A7 comes with a lightweight body of 168g in weighs, 7.5mm thickness, 76mm width and 160mm of height.

The metal – glass design with a lighter and thinner body along with vibrant colors, the new Galaxy A7 looks more premium and spacious.

Display

Samsung Galaxy A7The new Galaxy A7 comes with an 18:9 aspect ratio type 6 – inch super AMOLED full HD Plus display of resolution 1080×2220 pixels and 411ppi pixel density.

Corning gorilla glass 3 is present on the display to protect it against odd drops.

The as bottom bezel does not perform any functionality so, you will get the on-screen navigation bar. Which will nor appear when you operate a full-screen app but at the moment you touch the screen the bar will appear.

Camera And Sensors

Here is the main highlight comes, the triple camera setup on the back with a LED flash. The setup includes a 24MP Primary sensor of aperture f/1.7 and PDAF, an 8MP ultra-wide sensor with aperture f/2.4 by which you can capture a wider 120° field view. And the third one is 5MP depth sensor with aperture f/2.2 for perfect bokeh mode shots.

There is a LED flash under the unique setup so, that you can capture the perfect picture photos even under dim-light conditions.

You can switch the 8MP wide sensor from the camera app to capture the wide-angle-images.

On the front there is a 24MP selfie shooter with aperture f/2.0 is present and also a LED flash to enhance the low light conditions.

Both front and back camera comes with portrait and bokeh mode. The triple rear camera comes with “screen recognition”  technique. It is quite intelligent and recognizes 19 different scenes and adjusts the camera settings. It adjusts accordingly and captures the perfect shots for you.

The camera app also comes with features like 4-in-1 pixel binning technology, pro lighting mode, AR Emoji, selfie focus HDR, Panorama etc.

With the trio camera at back, you can record video @960fps with super slow motion.

Along with the side–mounted–Fingerprint sensor Samsung Galaxy A7 also includes sensors like accelerometer, gyroscope, proximity sensor, RGB light sensor.

Software, Processor, And Performances

Samsung has added a feature in the Galaxy A7 that you can now download and save an app on SD card. You can also able to transfer Apps and social media data from internal storage to external storage.

Though this feature is already present in many Samsung smartphones but the change is you can now able to transfer or download the entire App to SD card whereas in earlier you could download a part of it – According to Samsung.

Battery

Then just a battery it is more important to come with a battery that shows good backup. Because no one wants to carry a Powerbank or stuck close to the electric board and continue to charge their handset all the time.

Hurry up! The new Samsung Galaxy A7 is all set to go for online sale from 27 September (Today) and 28 September (Tomorrow) via. Flipkart and Samsung online store.

After that from 29 September (Saturday), it will available offline in retail stores.

The price of the Galaxy A7 is

₹23,990 for the 4GB RAM and 64GB internal storage variant and

₹28,990 for the 6GB RAM and 128GB internal storage variant.

Final word On Samsung Galaxy A7

Looking at the midrange smartphone segment it is no doubt that Samsung has done something unique. The “Triple rear camera”, “side–mounted–Fingerprint sensor” which is really applicable.

But certainly the question pinch in mind that why there is Android v8.0 and why not Android v8.1?

With the premium glass body design, vibrant colors and most importantly the “triple camera setup” at mid-range price surely attracts a lot of attention.

As you see the competition between the smartphone brands is increasing rapidly and everyone tries to do something unique that attracts a lot of customers.

So, it can be predicted that Samsung Galaxy A7 will give a tough competition to Phones like PocoPhone F1, Vivo v11 pro, OPPO F9 pro. Which are available in the same price range.
