Well, talking about a company which can produce durable phones made us remind of just one, Nokia. I mean yes, since decades Nokia was the king of smartphones ranging from the ancient Nokia 3100 to the latest Nokia 6.1 Plus, the company has done some amazing set of improvements.

Still, if we go into a little past, Nokia was struggling and it was Microsoft who captured Nokia, gave it their name and made windows phones.

However, after some years, windows phone didn’t do well enough to beat Android and the results? Well, we clearly don’t see any windows phone in 2018.

Hence, now, Nokia is back with a bang with their powerful yet elegant, the Nokia 6.1 Plus and I am about to give you a detailed Nokia 6.1 Plus review.

So, what else are we waiting for? Let’s move ahead and discover a complete review of Nokia 6.1 Plus, right in front of our eyes.

Nokia 6.1 Plus Review 2018: Beauty with a Beast Processor?

Design Section

Alike many Smartphone’s in India, the Nokia 6.1 Plus gets a glass and aluminum finish making it look stunning.

Further, the back panel is made from a 2.5D glass and it is curved slightly from its edges making super comfortable to hold in hands.

In addition, it also comes with chamfered edges on an aluminum frame as we have seen in different Nokia Smartphone’s.

Hence, they are super attractive and add a splash of different colors right on the Smartphone surface.

Moving ahead, the buttons are made of aluminum making it super easy to press and keeps durability criteria on to the mark.

Moving ahead in this Nokia 6.1 Plus review, the phone comes with a fingerprint sensor placed in the traditional location like other Smartphone’s.

Still, the sensor takes a bit longer to unlock the phone which Nokia must look at and fix it as soon as possible.

Display Section

Now, coming down towards the display section of Nokia 6.1 Plus, yes, it’s super bright and vibrant.

Plus, it comes with a massive 5.8 inches display whereas a 19:9FHD+ resolution makes it look stunning.

Further, the colors are vibrant and I saw no issue when viewing under sunlight.

For durability, the phone comes with Gorilla Glass 3 at the front and back to protect the phone from scratches and dropouts.

Although it comes with a glass back panel, it’s not reflective like the Honor 10 and looks much more premium.

Nokia 6.1 Plus: A Perfect Device For One-Hand Use

Rounding up the designs section, the Nokia 6.1 plus is a perfect device for one hand use. Yes, it’s not too big, not too small and can fit anyone’s hands, quite easily.

Other than that, with the availability of aluminum finish, the phone becomes less slippery and you can hold it, your preferred way.

Processor Section

Moving on to the processor section, the Nokia 6.1 plus boasts of the Snapdragon 636 Processor which is powerful in the budget segment.

After our testing, I didn’t face any lags on this device and every single game including PUBG ran pretty much flawlessly.

Further, for an extensive workability, the phone is powered by 4GB RAM which is more than sufficient to carry on daily tasks, surf the Internet, Play games and do heck more activities.

Battery Section

Well, for every gamer, the battery section stands as the most crucial part, right?

Hence, with the Nokia 6.1 Plus, you get a 3060mAh battery which can easily last for a full day with regular use.

Further, the phone even supports Quick Charge 3.0 but you don’t get any fast charger in the box itself.

From my testing, I get around 5 hours of screen on time and yes, the phone clearly doesn’t hold the hopes like Redmi Note 5 pro.

Software Section

Like the rest of recent Android devices, the Nokia 6.1 plus runs on Android one out of the box. Hence, you get a clutter-free and stock user experience making your device, fast, smooth and reliable.

Other than that, currently it is running on Android 8.1 Oreo but the company says that it will deliver Android 9.0 Pie at the end of 2018.

Camera Section: Nokia 6.1 Plus

Now, moving ahead into the camera section, Nokia has always done a brilliant job.

In the Nokia 6.1 Plus, the back panel bears two cameras whereas the 12MP and 5MP complete the rear package.

I took several shots and the image quality in daylight condition was clear and without any noise distortion.

Further, the front camera is of 16MP whereas the aperture stands out to be f/2.0. Yet again, we took several selfies and the color balance, clarity was all up to the perfect point.
