Written by Asif Aslam

Well, if you are a fitness freak, you might know on which terms I am talking about. Thus, without a single benefit of the doubt, the world is moving towards a fitness-oriented world. And, fitness trackers are truly coming into existence. Hence, this time, we will be reviewing the Fitbit charge 3.

First of all, Fitbit may sound as a synonymous to fitness tracker and the “Charge” word has a lot to do with this.

And, when it comes to the most popular fitness trackers available in the market, Fitbit has to be one of them.

So, what are some of the most amazing and still some annoying things about the Fitbit charge 3? Let us move ahead and discover each of them, one by one.

Fitbit Charge 3 Review: Is it the Fitness Band You Are Waiting For?

Design

To be honest, my favorite part of Fitbit charge 3 is the design section. Well, it doesn’t look too sporty or classy but still looks majestic from every side.

Further, it comes with a silicone band which makes a good looking balance.

Probably, this device looks much premium and looks good in our hands, to some really good extents.

Hence, for two good reasons, the Fitbit charge 3 looks good. Can’t guess, well it is none other than the design and the display for which we will take in the next section.

Display

Gone are the days for tap navigation as we say on the Fitbit charge 2. Now, the Fitbit charge 3 comes with a full-view OLED screen and feels nothing less than a smartwatch.

Although it is a monochrome display, the resolution has taken a leap and the display is crisp and readable.

Also, in outdoors, I had no issue and was able to keep a track on my daily activities, without any sorts of issue.

In fact, if you keep the display on auto-brightness, the screen is well-designed to get adjusted as per the norms, for sure.

What’s there in place of a physical button?

Now, in the place of a physical button on the Fitbit charge 3, you will get a new inductive button on the left side. It is pressure sensitive which makes use remind about the buttons on HTC U12 Plus.

In addition, it also acts as a back button which can come handy in tons of situations.

Is Fitbit Charge 3 Water-Resistant?

On the positive side, the Fitbit charge 3 is water resistant. Hence, it can resist a depth of 50 meters which is normally an on part score for fitness trackers.

And, when we compare it with a Fitbit 2 which was water repellant, this is usually a huge step towards revolution.

Just as we have got a category of mid-range phones, the fitness trackers category do follow the same norm. Still, it may have not got the GPS functionality but it comes with a 24/7 heart rate monitoring system.

First of all, Charge 3 comes with a massive 20 modes of exercises such as cycling, swimming, cycling, interval workouts, hiking and many more.

Further, it even helps in keeping a track of your foot count, distance traveled, floors climbed, calories burned, active minutes, sleep and tons of some more good things.

However, the distance tracking might not be so good because there is an absence of GPS in this case.

Moving ahead, according to Fitbit claims, the heart rate sensor on Charge 3 has been improved a lot.

With this, better accuracy like calorie burn and resting heart rate can be monitored at a much more accurate rate.

Personally, if you ask me to recommend a good fitness tracker, I will recommend the Fitbit, every single time.

Wondering about the sleep average time? Well, it gives a massive 30-days average sleep time and comes with a good benchmark score.

What else the Fitbit Charge 3 has brought for the Females?

Ladies, if you are a fitness freak, the female health tracking is available on the Fitbit charge 3. With this, it can let you track your menstrual cycles & understand how it can actually affect your health.

Battery Life on Fitbit Charge 3

According to the claims of Fitbit Charge 3, the battery can last up to 7 days even on a single charge. But, in my experience, it can last up to six days with a 24×7 heart monitoring active sensor.

In addition, the roll outcomes with a quick reply feature with which you can reply to a number of messages, at a glance.

Personally, I really liked the software of the Fitbit charge 3. It comes with a FitbitOS as the lonic or Versa.

Hence, you can swipe down to get notifications, swipe up to get an access to the Dashboard & swipe left to select an exercise, Timer, Alarm, Weather or Apps.

In addition, Fitbit is working with a lot of companies to bring in a bunch of third-party apps on the Charge 3.

Although, don’t expect full-oriented display apps but the apps will make your job, a lot easier.
